Is builders waste clearance cheaper than a skip?

Often, yes. Skip hire requires permits (approx £50-£100) and parking suspensions. Our Wait & Load service has no permit costs and you only pay for the volume we take.

Do you take plasterboard?

Yes, but it must be bagged separately from mixed waste due to environmental regulations. We can provide bags if needed.

How much rubble can you take?

Our trucks can carry up to 1.2 tonnes of heavy waste like rubble, soil, or concrete per load.

Separate bagging, gypsum landfill ban, and plasterboard-specific disposal costs for London construction sites.

Plasterboard CANNOT go into mixed builders waste (Environment Agency ban on gypsum in landfill). It must be double-bagged clearly labelled and we segregate it on the truck for specialist plasterboard recycling. Price: £10 per sealed 25kg bag or £180 per bulk-bag pallet.

Builders trade account pricing, credit terms, and emergency same-day site clearances for London construction projects.

Yes — trade accounts with 14-day NET payment terms are available for regular London builders, PMs, and site managers (2+ jobs/month minimum). Same-day emergency slots for end-of-week over-runs are guaranteed if booked by 10am.

Heavy waste tonnage limits for rubble, hardcore, concrete, and soil on London builders waste trucks.

Legal max on our 7.5t builders truck = 1.2 tonnes net payload of heavy inert waste (rubble, hardcore, soil, concrete). Mixed loads (timber + rubble) usually weigh 0.7–0.9t per load. Over-weight loads trigger a second trip quoted transparently before leaving site.

Hoist, goods-lift, and stair-barrel access for builders waste on high-rise London construction sites.

Yes. We work with building hoists, goods lifts, and service corridors for high-rise and basement sites. Our team uses stair-barrels for tight landings. Just include floor number, hoist capacity, and goods-lift dimensions when you send site photos.

Builders Waste FAQs

Find answers to common questions about our waste collection services, pricing, and recycling policies.

For most London jobs, yes. You don't pay for permits (£50+), parking suspensions (£40+ per day), or waste space you don't fill. You only pay for what we take.

It helps keep costs down if you separate timber, metal, and rubble, but it's not mandatory. However, plasterboard MUST be bagged separately by law.

We know construction sites move fast. We offer same-day collection if you book before 10am, or guaranteed next-day service.

Our 3.5t caged tippers can carry up to 1,200kg of heavy waste (rubble/soil) per load. For lighter bulky waste, volume is the main factor.

Yes! We work with many London building contractors. We offer credit accounts and priority booking for regular trade customers.

Yes, our team can collect waste from any floor. However, for large volumes of heavy rubble from upstairs, we may need to discuss the best logistical approach.
