How long do I get to load the truck?

Our standard Wait & Load service includes up to 45 minutes of loading time. This is usually plenty for most clearances.

No! Because the truck doesn't stay on the road, you don't need a council skip permit, saving you time and money.

Can you help with loading?

Yes, our driver can assist with loading for a small additional fee, or we can provide a full 2-man team if you want us to do all the heavy lifting.

45-minute window extensions and over-time pricing for London Wait & Load collections.

Extra loading time is always available on the day — 15-minute extensions cost £15 each. If you think you will need longer, pre-book a 90-minute window when we quote and get a bundled discount. Our team never rushes you off mid-job.

1-man driver help vs 2-man full-loading options for London Wait & Load.

Three options: (1) self-load within 45 mins = base price; (2) driver assist = +£30 (driver helps with 2-person lifts only); (3) full 2-man crew = +£80 (we do all the loading, you supervise). Most London customers take the 2-man option for speed and safety.

Congestion Charge, ULEZ, and low-emission zone compliance for Wait & Load in Central London.

Yes. Our entire London fleet is Euro 6 compliant so ULEZ charges do not apply. Congestion Charge (£15/day) and any parking bay suspensions are billed transparently at cost only if the job is inside the zone — no markups.

Vehicle capacity (cubic yards) vs 6-yard / 8-yard / 12-yard skip equivalence for London Wait & Load.

Our standard truck holds ~12 cubic yards loose-loaded — equivalent to one-and-a-half 8-yard skips. For tighter-access streets (mews, terraced London roads) we send a 7.5t medium truck (~8 cubic yards), comparable to a builders skip but loaded at kerbside in one trip.

Wait & Load FAQs

Find answers to common questions about our waste collection services, pricing, and recycling policies.

Our standard price includes 45 minutes of loading time. If you need longer, just let us know when booking and we can arrange extended time for a small fee.

No! This is the biggest advantage of Wait & Load. Because the vehicle doesn't park and wait, you don't need a skip license or bay suspension.

Yes. We offer 'Driver Assist' where the driver helps you load, or a full 'We Load' service where a 2-man team does all the work for you.

Yes, our fleet is Euro 6 compliant (ULEZ ready). Wait & Load is often the ONLY viable option for waste removal in Central London.

We typically use 3.5 tonne caged tippers. They hold about the same volume as a 12-14 yard skip but are much easier to maneuver in tight streets.

Yes, unlike skip delivery which is often 'sometime today', we offer 2-hour arrival windows so you're not waiting around all day.
