Welcome to Mme Waste Ldn. By using our website and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.

1. Service Provision

We provide waste collection and disposal services. We reserve the right to refuse service for any reason, including safety concerns or prohibited items.

2. Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly prohibited unless agreed upon in writing prior to collection:

Asbestos
Biological or medical waste
Explosives or flammable materials
Toxic chemicals or radioactive materials

3. Payments, Deposits & Refunds

Payment is due upon completion of the job or as agreed for commercial accounts. For certain bookings, a deposit may be required to secure your slot.

Deposits: All deposits are non-refundable if cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time.
Cancellations: You have the right to cancel your booking at any time. Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance will receive a full refund of any deposit paid.
Refunds: Refunds for eligible cancellations will be processed within 5-10 business days via the original payment method (Stripe).
Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled slot or "no-shows" will forfeit the deposit to cover vehicle and labor mobilization costs.
Wasted Journeys / Dry Runs: If our team arrives and cannot access the waste, or the waste is significantly different from described/quoted, a wasted journey fee (equal to the deposit or £50, whichever is greater) will apply.

4. Right to Cancel (Consumer Contracts Regulations)

Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have 14 days from the date of booking to cancel the service for a full refund. However, if you request the service to begin within this 14-day period (e.g., a same-day or next-day clearance), you acknowledge that your right to a full refund is waived for costs already incurred by the company.

5. Liability & Insurance

We maintain comprehensive Public Liability Insurance. However, our liability for any single incident is limited to the total value of the service provided, except in cases of personal injury or death caused by our negligence. While we take every care during collection, we are not liable for minor damage to property (e.g., driveway scratches) caused by the necessary movement of heavy waste, unless due to negligence.

6. Partner Companies & Sub-contracting

We may use approved partner companies or sister companies to carry out work on our behalf. All partners are fully licensed and held to the same high standards of service and environmental compliance as Mme Waste Ldn.

7. Licensing & Compliance

We are a fully licensed Waste Carrier registered with the Environment Agency. We provide waste transfer notes for all collections as required by law, ensuring a full audit trail for your waste disposal.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
